(The documents state that the existing fiberglass batts within the ceiling assembly provide approximately R-24,exceeding ECCNYS R402.1.2 minimum R-19 filling the available cavity.) R-15 fiberglass insulation(>R3/inch)was observed installed in all wall cavities in lieu of the specified mineral wool.Nonetheless the insulative value provided exceeds that required by code.Installation was workmanlike and continuous.Cavities were completely filled,and insulation was installed between the basement foundation wall and any pipes and receptacles within the wall. The insulation at the ceiling was not observed to have been reduced.
