AS SET FORTH in Chapter 59 and Chapter 6 of the Town Code of the Town of
Southold open space acquired by the Town pursuant to the provisions of those
chapters shall not thereafter be alienated, except upon the affirmative vote of a
majority of the Town Board after a public hearing and upon the approval of the
electors of the Town voting on a proposition submitted at a special cr biennial
town election. No subsequent amendment of the provisions of those chapters
shall alter the limitations imposed upon the alienation of rights acquired by the
Town prior to any such amendment. This restriction shall run with the land in
perpetuity.

Preservation Coordinator. ' As per the hearing notice, this property is approximately 0.86 Jcres, it is

located on the north side of Ruth Road in Mattituck. This is an open space purchase under tile Town's
Open Space program. The parcel is offered to the Town as a bargain sale. That is both the lbdowner
and the. Town understand that the value of the lot is significantly greater than the purcllase price
offered by the Town and accepted by the landowner. The Land Preservation Committee rev~ewed the
