March 23. 2004. at 8:00 I~.m.. Southold Town Hall. 53095 Main Road. Sonthold. New York as the time and 1)lace for a lmblic hearJn~ for the imrehase of a develol~ment rights easement on a~ricultnral lands for a ce~:tain I~arcel of I~rol~ertv owned by John B. Sel}enoski, Jr. and others. Said property is identified as part of SCTM #1000-69-1-6. The address is 37025 County Road 48, Southold, New York. and is located on the north side of Middle Road (C.R. 48), approximately 500 feet west of North Road at its intersection with Middle Road IC.R. 48), in Southold. The development rights easement comprises approx'maately 34.3 acres of the 39.3 acre parcel. The exact area of the development rights easement is subject ro survey. Ire i~urchase I)rice is $30,000 (thirty thousand dollars/per bnildable acre. The I~rol~ert~ is listed on the Town's Community Preservation Project Plan as i~rol~ertv that should be l~reserved due to its a~ricultural value. I have a notification that the public hearing has been published in the local newspaper and it has appeared on the Town Clerk's bulletin board outside. The land owaer is reserving aboat~ 5 acres from thb development rights easement and the five. acre reserved area ~s located in the general area of the existing house anti improvements and sort of behin~it.
