PASCALE County Clerk, Suffolk County CERTIFICATE OF ABANDONMENT PURSUANT TO SECTION 335 OF THE REAL PROPERTY LAW OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK Whereas,Nikolaos Lazarakis and Maria Lazarakis, residing at 365 Ryder Farm Lane, Orient,NY 11957, for the purpose of abandoning and canceling a portion of the ' street known as "Park View Lane" which tract of land is described below, pursuant to the provisions of Section 335 of the Real Property Law of the State of New York, do hereby certify: 1. That a certain map subdividing such tract of land and other land situate in Orient, Town of Southold, County of Suffolk and State of New York, into lots, plots, blocks and streets, entitled"Map of Orient by the Sea, Section 2" filed in the office of the Clerk of the County of Suffolk on October 26, 1961 as Map No. 3444. 2. That more than 20 years have elapsed since the filing of said map. 3. That the portion of the street known as"Park View Lane" on the aforementioned subdivision map, which is to be abandoned and canceled, is situated in the Town of Southold, County of Suffolk and State of New York, and is described in Schedule"A"which is annexed hereto and made a part hereof. 4. Nikolaos Lazarakis and Maria Lazarakis own the property bounded by the portion of said street to be abandoned, being the same premises conveyed by deed dated July 1711, 2007 and recorded July 251, 2007 in the office of the Suffolk County Clerk at Liber 12515, Page 060, more particularly described in Schedule"B" which is annexed hereto and made a part hereof. 5. The portion of said street to be abandoned, more particularly described in Schedule"A" annexed hereto and made a part hereof, is entirely within the bounds of the property to be abandoned, and such portion is neither open, nor public highway, nor used by the public, or necessary for the use of the owners, occupants, or any other persons having an interest in any part of the said subdivision. 6. Said Town of Southold does hereby abandon and cancel said portion of the street known as "Park View Lane", and effective with the due approval and recording hereof shall no longer exist. 7. Endorsed hereon is the approval of the Assessor of the Town of Southold. A copy of said endorsement is annexed hereto as Schedule"C" and made a part hereof. 8. The undersigned do hereby abandon and cancel the subdivision of such tract of land described in Schedule"A", including a portion of said street known as Park View Lane, which shall no longer exist upon the approval and recording of this certificate. 9. Submitted herewith is an Abstract of Title of the portion of said street described in Schedule"A" to be abandoned, covering a period of at least twenty (20) years last past and a Certification by a duly licensed Title Company doing business in the County of Suffolk to the effect that there are no unpaid taxes or tax liens against said lands, to be approved by the Clerk of Suffolk County at the time of recording hereof.
