Dear Mr.Verity:
Regarding Permit#48100 for the Storage Shed.
The building is built on a 6"thick slab on grade foundation.The roof rafters are properly strapped
to the wall framing and the sill is properly bolted to the slab foundation,
Regarding Permit#48926 for the as built finished basement
We verified that the plumbing in the existing bathroom conforms with the plumbing riser shown on
page A03 of the proposed plans.
A 5/8"fire rate sheet rock is installed on both sides of the wall separating the living area and the
mechanical room.
The existing wall-insulation has an R-21 rating.

HiAmanpOn October 13th I spoke to you and Mike
You and Mike said that you will issue the CO for the garage with a "violation" noted that there are partitions/or
proposed apartment. That is OK because the violation will be corrected after ZBA approval of the apartment.
I have the building permit application completed, I am just waiting for Betsy to return to notarize my signature, I
am delivering the building permit today.
You said to apply with the plans for the apartment (prepared, by John Condon PE), that permit will be rejected with
a "notice of disapproval" which then requires us to apply for the accessory apartment (get ZBA approval).
This process will work to enable the application to the ZBA to be fled.

I had hoped to discuss at the hearing the use of the second floor as storage only(2 closets)with the ZBA when I
appeared for the.accessory apartment. The ZBA has on several applications directed the owner on what could
be done in the'storage area. (i.e. remove stairs, remove windows, etc)
You asked for pictures matching the new plans....the contractor framed the closets so the pictures would show
the framed (unfinished) closets...I told her not to touch anything-until I told her what to do.
The plans.show open area-proposed removal of closets if that is what ZBA requires.-you have both plans-the
plans with the closets or all open(NO CLOSETS)...she is prepared to remove the closets if the BOard says she
may not have closets (seems extreme).
