Re.: Application to put up a sign on property leased by NPP
Native Plant Partners would like to put up a 3' x 4' sign on the corner of property we are
renting from you, to identify our business in an effort to avoid confusion with other plant
nurseries along Sterling La. I am attaching a photo of the proposed sign and another photo of
the sign structure that the sign would be attached to.
NPP would put up the sign ourselves and would remove it when our lease expires. There would
be no cost to you for anything to do with this sign.
We plan to place the sign just North of the entrance to the leased property off Sterling La, and
we are open to your suggestion regarding final placement.
If you have any questions about this application please contact me at any time.
If you have no objection to this proposal, please sign the statement below that we will need for
the application to the Town, and return the signed copy to me.

Re: Application to put up a sign
Please review the following application for a permit to put up a sign in Southold Town:
• Location:
A field of nursery plants at 31025 Rt 25 Cutchogue, property owned and leased to NPP by
Sandra Meyer tax map no 1000-102-02-23, on the West side of Sterling La, Cutchogue
approximately 1,300 ft North of the Rt 25 right of way. See attached plan showing the
detailed location.
• Sign size, configuration and content:
Sign: 3' x 4' = 12 sq ft supported by two posts to a max height of 6 ft above ground level.
Content: See attached photo.
Materials: Signboard is a plastic material with metal backing attached to wooden backing
Posts are wooden 4x4s sheathed in plastic.
• Landowner's permission:
Pls see attached signed form approving this application. For confirmation Bldg Dept staff
