The Board of Trustees reviewed your request to remove one (1) dead tree that is located on your property and is within 100' of the wetlands. This tree was reviewed and seen by Trustee President, Glenn Goldsmith on March 4, 2024. The Board of Trustees determined that the one (1) tree near the wetlands may be removed at this time. No permit will be required in order to perform this work. Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office. This is not a determination from any other agency. If you have any questions, please call our office at (631) 765-1892. cerely, Glenn Goldsmith, President Board of Trustees Cantrell, Elizabeth From: Goldsmith, Glenn Sent: Monday, March 4, 2024 4:10 PM To: Cantrell, Elizabeth Subject: Re:Tree removal request 700 Deep Hole Drive Mattituck I checked this one out this morning and it's okay to be removed. While I was there I noticed that the property across the creek at the end of Lupton's Point still has the silt fence and staking in the water. We should refer it to the Harbor Masters. You can see the silt fence in one of the pictures that was sent over. Thanks!
