We hereby submit specifications and estimates for.
Remove and discard the existing indoor air handling unit serving the Master Bedroom which
contains a failed evaporator coil. Provide and install a new indoor air handling unit which
.utilizes R-410A Puron non-ozone depleting environmentally compliant refrigerant to consist
of the following:
Scope-of-Work:
• Pump down and reclaim refrigerant from the existing condensing unit refrigeration
circuit as per EPA regulation Title 40 CFR, Part 82 and Clean Air Act, Sections 601-
607.
• Remove and dispose of the existing indoor air handler.
• Provide and install one (1) Rheem Classic Series 2-ton, 208/240V, air handler to be
installed at the existing air handler location in the residence attic, suspended from
roof rafters by means of threaded rod and kindorf with a secondary drain pan and
moisture sensor.
• All refrigeration piping connections to be silver brazed.
• Flush refrigeration lines.
• Evacuate refrigerant circuit to 500 microns deep vacuum.
• Provide connections for power wiring and control wiring to accommodate new unit
configurations.
• Provide necessary duct modifications and new duct transitions to accommodate the
installation of the new air handler.
• Charge refrigerant circuit with new R-410A Puron non-ozone depleting
environmentally compliant refrigerant.
• Provide all necessary materials, labor, and installation.
• Provide,start-up and test of the system.
Excludes:
• Enlargement of the existing attic access hatch to allow for the removal/installation of
the:air handlers, if required.
