Park District held on December 11, 200 , at the Mattituck Fire House in a classroom on
the second floor,Pike Street,Mattituck,New York, with Commissioners Gerard
Goehringo, Chairman,and Walter Sabat present,together with John Cushman,
Treasurer,Madeline Haas, Secretary, Gail Faircloth, Gate Guard Attendant, and Gail
Wickham,Park District Attorney. Commissioner Jerome Zuhoski was absernt due to a
fire alarm which he responded to.
Chairman Goehringer called the meeting to order at 7:10 P.M..
On motion of Chairman Goehringer, seconded by Walter Sabat and carried,the
November minutes were approved as presented.
On motion of Chairman Goehringer, seconded by Walter Sabat and carried,the
Treasurer's report was approved as presented below and the following bills were ordered
paid:

On motion of Gerarad Goehringer, seconded by Walter Sabat and carried the
following modifications to the 2003 budget were adopted:
APPROPRIATIONS

Gerard Goehringer reported that the Building Permit for the Vet's Park new
building is ready
It was reported that the gates at Vet's Park were unable to be closed due to the
snow. Gerry Goehringer is to put a chain up across the whole front of the driveway.
On motion of Gerard Goehringer, seconded by Walter Sabat and carried,the
trailer for the truck is to be purchased for$2,000.00.
The closing took place for the sale of the Main Road Office building. Gerard
Goehringer signed a statement that if there is a problem with the right of way in the back
of the building Mr. McCarthy and the owner of the building next door will have their
attorneys go forward in attempting to re-establish the right of way but the Park District
does not want to enter into a release or any proceedings in connection therewith.
The Christmas luncheon for the employees of the Park District has been changed
to December 2&at Elbow H because of the snow storm last Saturday.
Lighting for Aldrich Lane was discussed but due to the fire alarm that the fire
department was responding to Gerard Goehringer wished to make a motion, seconded by
Walter Sabat and carried,the meeting be adjourned.

After adjournment Chairman thanked Walter Sabat for serving as a Commissioner of the
Park District since 1985 to the present time and for his many hours dedicated to Aldrich
Field in Laurel, and all the other time he gave his ideas and time to improve the many
sites belonging to the District..
