As, Chief Executive of Southold Town, I, , have
exercised the authority given to me under New York State Executive Law, Article
2-B, to preserve the public safety and here~by render all required and available
assistance vital tO the security, well-being and health of the' citizens of the Town.
I hereby direct the Southold Town PoJice Department, the Department of
Emergency Preparedness, and the Highway Department to take whatever steps
necessary to protect life and property, public infrastructure and other such
emergency assistance as deemed necessary, including, but not limited to, the
closure of roads, clbsure of beaches and parking areas, rerouting of'traffic and
the evacu~ation of perSOns from homes, places of business and other areas
