HomeMy WebLinkAbout09/2023 Department of Public Works Monthly Report Date: September 2023 Town Hall - Opened wall to Records office to Town Clerk's office - Rearranged furniture and offices in Town Clerk's office - Repaired light in west end stairwell - Repaired hot water faucet in Justice Court - Monitored roof project at Annex - Maintenance Mechanics trip to FI - Cleaned up leak at Annex - Cleaned out blower wheels on water tower at Annex - Repaired or replaced weather stripping on Annex exterior doors Beaches, Parks & Road Ends - monthly road end staircase inspections - Cleaned beach bathrooms - Painted Tasker bathroom walls and door - Deep cleaned gazebo floor at Silversmiths, filled gaps between bricks - Cleaned up unkept private property per Town Attorney - Replaced facia & soffits on beach bath houses - Begin fall clean up at properties - Winterize and clean up ADA beach chair - Store mobi mats for the season - Cleaned cement at Pavillion Tasker Park - Weeded gardens - Fixed up Town Beach gazebo, painted HWY - Repaired garage door on cold storage - Installed outlet in Margie's office HRC/Katinka - Repaired sliding closet door - Painted new walkway between new sidewalk across parking lot - Cleaned out grease trap - Replace damaged ceiling tiles REC/PCC - Installed deadbolt on Library door at PCC Deer Management Program - Managed early hunting season - Marked hunting areas on properties - Staffed deer cooler - Maintain all pertinent paperwork for program - Liaison for harvested deer and processor - Interfaced with DEC office & DEC officers - Prepared for regular hunting season beginning October 1 - Prepared packets for hunters with tags, parking permits, maps and program's information. Distributed packets to participating hunters.
