I. Activities of the Board/Accomplishments:
Reappointments by the Town Board
On January 3,2024,the Town Board reappointed ZBA Member Nicholas Planamento for
another 5-year term and reappointed ZBA Member Leslie Kanes Weisman as ZBA
Chairperson/Department Head for 2024
ZBA Organizational Meeting_(January 4,2024)
1. The Board unanimously re-adopted the ZBA Guidelines to Open Meetings Law and
Ethical Issues,the ZBA Code of Conduct,and the ZBA Procedural Guidelines(as
amended)
2. Chairperson Weisman reappointed Member Planamento as Vice-Chairperson for 2024
Proposed Zoning Code Changes
Per Supervisor Krupski's request,the Board of Appeals discussed at length aspects of the
current zoning code that, based upon our experience,need greater clarification and/or changes.
The Chairperson updated the ZBA ongoing list of codes in need of review by the Code
Committee and Town Board and compiled a report to submit to the Supervisor for
consideration.
