Accordingly, this is to advise you that the Department of State has suspended consistency review for this project pending-completion of the DEIS, and submission of a copy to this office for review, Would you please ensure that the points raised in our June 10, 1985 letter requesting additional information are addressed in the DEIS, as well as alt perti- nent state coastal policies. Please provide a discussion of questions C.l.(h), 2(9)(b), and 3(a)(d) as per Section D of your submitted Federal Consistency Assessment Form. * Please supply color photographs of the site showing area to be dredged and adjacent shorelines. Include date, time, view direction, stage of tide, etc. (These are questions 6 & 7 on the Corps NANY Form-201.) * Please prepare a discussion of the need to dredge the area, including reasons for the desired depth and the proposed area. A discussion of boat types and drafts is pertinent. In addition to the information requested above, please provide this office with a copy of all information requested by any Federal, States and local agen- cies reviewing this project. ~ease provide the information reouested above to the Department of State as soon as possilble. If this information is not provided, the Department of State may, pursuant to 15 CFR 930.64(d), be forced to object to your consis- tency certification, based on the grounds of insufficient information needed to determine consistency of the proposed project with the New York State Coastal Management Program.
