As per my June 6, 1991 letter to you there are four (4) items that have not yet been certified or completed. A copy of this letter has been enclosed for your reference. Item # 2 in this letter refers to the installation of streetlights. Since my June 6, 1991 letter, it has been decided that two (2) streetlights would be required and they should be located on the existing utility poles at the two intersections entering the new, subdivision. The installation of Lights on an existing utility pole requires a permit from LILCO, This permit may take a considerable amount of time to obtain. Due to this relatively lengthy permit process Mr Jacobs has recommended that after all other work has been completed the Town should accept the roads for dedication with one condition. This condition would be that the $ 3,000.00 as listed in the Bond Estimate for Streetlight and Rirecn Burial Cable installations should remain in the form of a Bond or Certified Check to cover the work until such time that the stree~lights have ~een installed. Please review this recommendation. If you agree with this arrangement, please contact Mr. Mandell and inform him of the proceedure that he must follow in order to dedicate his roads. Corrazzini is on site paving the last section of Lisa Drive. There is only a small section remaining and the asphalt is being spread by hand. Corrazzini was asked to remove the existing patch in front of the one remaining driveway and to provide excess asphalt to take it's place. The patch was installed by the Town Highway Dept. at the request of the owner. The need for the additional asphalt was to provide an easier access to the residential driveway. This was done satisfactorily. 10:00AM The asphalt top wearing course has been placed in the entire subdivision. The asphalt course, as installed, is satisfactory and meets the requirements of the Town Specifications. PAGE 1 OF 1 RAYMONDL.
