Re: New Project at Pequot Inn Site on Fishers Island
Dear Brian and Heather:
In accordance with my conversation with Brian this morning, I have
enclosed two prints of a draft Preliminary Site Plan of the Pequot Inn property on
Fishers Island prepared by CME Associates Engineering, Land Surveying &
Architecture, PLLC under date of November 7, 2016. As you can see, the property
lies in both a "B" and R-40 Zone District.
The owner would like to erect a duplex in the location shown on the
draft Site Plan for the purpose of providing affordable housing for employees of the
Pequot Inn and obviously faces zoning and planning issues that need to be sorted out
before he can proceed.
I would appreciate it if you would review the draft Site Plan and then
give me a call to discuss what procedures you believe will be necessary for us to
undertake with the Planning Department and/or to set up an appointment for me to
come to your office for a pre-submission conference.
