THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION NO. 2024-102 WAS
ADOPTED AT THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE SOUTHOLD TOWN BOARD ON
JANUARY 16,2024:
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby accepts the bid of
Commonwealth Equipment Corp. opened on December 21, 2023 to supply the Solid Waste
Management District with a 21-foot drum with 1/4" screens for the District's McCloskey 621
trommel screen at a cost of$38,796.60, all in accordance with the Town Attorney.

SPECIFICATIONS FOR REPLACEMENT TROMMEL SCREEN DRUM
GENERAL
One(1) replacement drum assembly for a 2009 model McCloskey 621 wheel-driven trommel
screen.
SPECIFICATION
• One(1)6' diameter x 21' long unscreened drum,to be driven by 4 vulcanized solid rubber
wheels
• Five(5) Longitudinal members spaced on the inside of the drum_to provide aggressive
screening action
• Four(4)screen panels each with 1/411 openings
• Four(4) hardware screen kits,600 sereies, 1 kit for each panel(600 MCB SQ 1/4")
• Assembled drum must be fully compatible with operation in the McCloskey 621 screener
specified above including,but not limited to,the following operational characteristics:
- Drum angle adjustable from 1 degrees to 6 degrees via front hydraulic jacks
- Drum speed is adjustable from 1 —26 RPM
- Vulcanized solid rubber wheels of 100 lbs each measuring 18"x 7", each
powered by its own radial piston hydraulic motor(total of 4 motors)
OTHER
In addition to the drum and associated hardware, any other surcharges or delivery charges
must be specified.
Total lead time for delivery of the completely assembled drum must be indicated.

competition.
B. The person signing this bid or proposal certifies that he has fully informed himself regarding the
accuracy of the statements contained in this certification, and under the statements contained in this
certification, and under the penalties of perjury, affirms the truth thereof, such penalties being
applicable to the bidder, as well as the person signing in its behalf.
