DESCRIPTION OF ACTION The minor subdivision of Alice F~ Milliken is a two-lot minor subdivision~of 8.61 acres located at Fishers Island. The. project has been determined not to have a significant effect on the environment for the following reasons: An environmental assessment has been submitted which indicated that no significant adverse effects to the environment were likely to occur should the project be implemented as planned. The New York State Dept. of Environmental Conservation states that the state has no jurisdiction under either the Tidal Wetlands Act or the Freshwater Wetlands Act. The property is located more than 300 feet from Tidal Wetlands. The adOacent Freshwater Wetlands is smaller than 12.4 acres and therefore state rules and regulations do not apply. The Suffolk County Department of Health Services has indicated that a precursory review indicates that public water is available and there would be no objection to the installation of individual sewage disposal facilities provided test holes indicate soil and groundwater condi- tions are suitable. The project will meet all requirements of the Code of the Town of Southold Subdivision of Land regulations.
