During the inspection the following violations were noted and should be corrected immediately. Party Shop East Side There shall be an exit sign indicating the front door as an exit. There shall be a minimum of one (1) set of emergency exit lighting positioned so as to illuminate the exit paths in case of power interruption. A fire extinguisher shall be available. A five-pound ABC type extinguisher would be sufficient. The fire extinguisher shall be mounted in an accessible location and clearly marked. The extinguisher shall be inspected monthly by a designated employee and inspected and tagged yearly by an approved servicing company. In public areas the minimum clear aisle width shall be 36 inches. Party Shop West Side There shall be an exit sign indicating the front door as an exit. Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be affixed to structures, extended through walls, ceilings or floors, or under doors or floor coverings, nor shall such cords be subject to environmental damage or physical impact. Extension cords shall be used only with portable appliances. Open junction boxes, open breaker spaces, and open winng splices shall be prohibited. Approved covers shall be provided for all switch and electrical outlet boxes. Apartment 2nd Floor A fire extinguisher shall be available. A two and one half-pound ABC type extinguisher would be sufficient. The fire extinguisher shall be mounted in an accessible location and clearly marked. The extinguisher shall be inspected monthly by a designated emPloyee and inspected and tagged yearly by an approved servicing company. Smoke detectors shal be provided in each sleeping area and outside the sleeping areas. Apartment Grade Level rear This apartment is not permitted and shall be removed immediately. All appliances shall be removed Basement West Side The minimum clear aisle width shall be 36 inches. No storage of any material shall be stored within the designated working space.
