Subject: Pre-Submission inspection
Hi Elizabeth. Anthony and I thought it would be helpful to us to review the existing and proposed
improvements to the property. This was Gerald Lang's house and it was left as a"Zombie House" and the yard
had garbage and buried tires along the bank to hold up the boulders. There was an open building permit for the
house. AMP is working closely with the building department to be sure that the construction done by Mr. Lang
conforms to the building permit issued to Mr. Lang and work to be continued by Mr. Sfoglia. Mr Sfoglia did
not realize that the conditions of the property and existing structures could not be repaired or
maintained without transferring the permits into his name. This resulted in Town Code violations which the
Town Attorney will not resolve until we obtain a wetland permit.
The proposed plan includes improvements to the property which we believe are consistent with the Trustee's
policies. I do not believe the current Board members have been on the property (previous Board issued the
permits when Mr. Lang was the owner).
