The following action was taken by the Southold Town Board of Trustees at their Regular
Meeting held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.
RESOLVED that the Southold Town Board of Trustees APPROVE the Administrative
Amendment to Administrative Permit#10516A to modify the following: for the existing 72'10" of
6' high wood stockade fence along westerly side of proposed pool in lieu of 90'; 40' of which is
within Trustee jurisdiction in lieu of 28'; install 5' high mesh deer/pool fence with 1' additional top
wire in all locations with 4"x4" wood posts at F o.c. (195'6" L.F.), in lieu of proposed 4' high
1"x1"welded wire metal pool fence with 4'4" wood posts at 8' o.c. (243.5 L.F.); install one (1) 6'
high by 4'6" outswing wood pool code single gate in southeast corner; install two (2) 4"x4" wood
posts for the bump-out on the easterly side with a 2'6"x4' wood panel on each side of two (2)
4'x2'6" wood panel outswing gates (11'1" total); total 5' high mesh deer/pool fence, wood posts,
wood panels and wood panel gates is 210'9" in lieu of originally proposed pool gates, wood
posts and panels; and as depicted on the site plan prepared by Edmund D. Hollander,
Landscape Architect Design, P.C., received on February 12, 2024, and stamped approved on
March 20, 2024.
Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office.
This is not an approval from any other agency.

I respectfully request an amendment to administrative permit no. 10516 A as follows:
IN LIEU OF:
Line 1 —2: remove (90' ) and substitute 72 `- 10 " . Remove 28 ` and substitute 40 `.
Line 4—5 : remove (install a 4' high 1" x 1" welded wire metal pool fence with 4 ` x 4 "
wood posts @ 8 ` O.C. (243.51f) and substitute-Install a 5 ` high mesh deer deer pool
fence with 1' additional top wire in all locations with 4"x 4' wood posts (a,5 ` O.C. ( 195 `-

Project Description: For the existing ninety (90) feet of 6' high wood stockade fence
along westerly side of proposed pool enclosure to remain —28' of which is within trustee
jurisdiction; remove the existing 6' high wood stockade fence, posts and gate on south,
east and north sides (westerly side of fence to remain); install a 4' high 1"x1" welded
wire metal pool fence with 4"x4" wood posts @ 8' oc (243.51f) in approximately same
location; install two (2) 4' high x 2.5' wide (5 total) outswing wooden pool gates with (2)
4"x4" wooden posts with a 2.5'x4' wood panel on each side (10' total for each gate with
panels). Total 4' welded wire pool fence, wood panels, wood doors 263.5 linear feet.
Findings: The project meets all the requirements for issuance of an Administrative
Permit set forth in Chapter 275 of the Southold Town Code. The issuance of an
Administrative Permit allows for the operations as indicated on the site plan prepared by
Hollander Landscape Architects, received on January 16, 2024, and stamped approved
on January 17, 2024.
Special Conditions: None.
Inspections: Final Inspection.
If the proposed activities do not meet the requirements for issuance of an Administrative
Permit set forth in Chapter 275 of the Southold Town Code, a Wetland Permit will be
required.
This is not a determination from any other agency.

Silver Sands Holdings 1 , LLC: Pool Fence Project Description
Existing 90 ft. 6 ft high wood stockade fence along westerly side of proposed
pool enclosure to remain. 8 ft. of fence within enclosure is within 100 ft.
jurisdiction from fresh water wetland and 20 ft. of existing 6 ft. high wood
stockade fence extends northerly from proposed enclosure to terminus ( 28 ft. +
/ - of existing wood stockade fence within jurisdiction. )
Remove existing 6 ft. high wood stockade fence, posts and gate on south, east
and north sides.
Install a 4 ft. high 1" x 1" welded wire metal pool fence with 4" x 4 " wood posts
@ 8 ft. O.C. ( 243.5 LF.) in approximately same location. Install two ( 2 ) 4 ft. high
x 2.5 ft. wide ( 5 ft. total ) outswing wooden pool gates w/ ( 2 ) 4" x 4 " wooden
posts w/ a 2.5 ft. x 4 ft. wood panel on each side ( 10.0 ft. total for each gate w/
panels ).

The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the
Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy
Standards. Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form
submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that
the action is CONSISTENT with the Policy Standards and therefore is CONSISTENT with the
LWRP.
Chapter 268, the Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in preparing its written
determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action.
