POLICY: At scheduled Town Board meetings, the attending public is encouraged to briefly
address the Town Board relating to agenda resolutions prior to their enactment; the public will
also be given time at the conclusion of the regularly scheduled business agenda to address the
Board on any given topic.

Southold Town Board of Trustees Notice of Public Hearing on proposed revisions to
Southold Town Code Chapter 97 Wetlands and Shoreline Wednesday, July 16, 2003, at
Southold Town Hall. Public information session at 7:00 p.m., public hearing beginning 7:15
p.m.

V. RESOLUTIONS
Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to
speak on the following resolutions.

Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute an Agreement with the State of New
York through the Commissioner of Transportation to commit the Town of Southold to
maintain the lighting system on the P1NO041.99, Hamlet of Cutchogue project.

Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute an Agreement with the State of New
York through the Commissioner of Transportation to commit the Town of Southold to
maintain the lighting system on the P1NO041.99, S outhold project.
431.
Set 8:00 p.m., August 12, 2003, Southold Town Hall, as the time and place for a public
hearing on the application requesting a waiver from the provision s of the Local Law
entitled "Temporary Moratorium on the Processing, Review of, and making Decisions on
the applications for Major and Minor Subdivisions, and Special Use Permits and Site Plans
containing dwelling unit(s) in the town of Southold" for the minor subdivision of Oregon
Landing.
432. Establish rate of pay for Food Service Worker.
433. Authorize the closure of Sound Avenue, Mattituck, for the Mattituck Presbyterian Church
Annual Summer Fair.
434. Authorize and direct the Southold Town Clerk to advertise for bids for the purchase of
street lamps to be installed in Cutchogue by the NYS DOT.
435. Authorize and direct Town Clerk Neville to advertise surplus equipment for bid.
436. Promote Patricia Garsik to the position of full-time Secretarial Assistant in the Police
Department.
437. Authorize and direct Town Clerk Neville to advertise for bids for the Construction of a
Municipal Parking Lot & Reconstruction of Griffing Street, Cutchogue.

Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to enter into a 60-month lease agreement with
IKON Office Solutions for a Canon ImageRunner 500 copier at the Police Department.
Appoint Nicholas Espinosa to the position of part-time seasonal Deckhand for the Fishers
Island Ferry District.
Appoint Angel Morales to the position of full-time Food Service Worker at the Human
Resource Center.
Authorize modification to the 2003 Community Preservation Fund for outside legal counsel.
Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2003 budget to appropriate NYS
grant and auction proceeds for the "With You, Southold Can" project.
Authorize and direct Town Clerk Neville to publish a legal notice in the New York State
Register and the Traveler Watchman to solicit proposals for a deferred compensation plan
for Town employees.
Appoint a hearing officer, to be determined, in the disciplinary charges brought against a
Town employee and suspend the employee without pay for not more than thirty days
pending the determination of the charges.
