C ON.$E~Ff OF BOARD TOW~N BoArD OF THE TOWN OF SOUTHO~, COUNTY OF SL~FFOLK, STATE OF N~ YORK )of the ) Dated, at the office of the Supervisor of the To~u~ of Soathold, at Greenport, N.Y., November 10th, L~0N READING AND FILING the dedication and release of CON BULLOCK, ~A BULLOCK and MARY~YLK0~ dated November 10th, 19~, and duly ac~owlcdged, dedicating and releasing the necessary lands in order to properly describe a portion of an existing town highway ~aown as SOL~ND AV~]NLVE, be it RESOLVED, that consent be and the same hereby is given that the Town Superintendent of Highways of the Town of Southold, make an order laying out the ~oresaid portion o~ the aforesaid To~ Highway to consist of the lands described iu said dedication and release sad to extend as delineated upon the map annexed to said application~ all in accordance with the provisions of Section 171 o~ the Highway Law of the State of New Yo~k, TOI~I OF SOUTHOLD : STATE OF NEW YORK : In the Matter of a Portion of : SOUND AVENUE : at Mattituok in the Town of Southold~ County of Suffolk and State of New York. : ORAL APPLICATIOE having boen d:tly mad. o O_R_~R LAYING OUT HIGH- WAY WITH THE CONSENT 0},~ THE TOWN BOARD to me the Town Super- intendant of Highways for the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, for the laying out of a portion of a certain Town Highway, in the said Town of -qouthold, by CON BULLOCK, EVA BULLOCK and MARY SEPKO, liable to be asses-~eA for highway taxes in said Town, and the written consent of the Town Board of ~aid Town.. having been given as prescribed by law, and a dedication add ~elease from dsmages having been executed, acknowledged and delivered by the adjacent land owners, s copy of which is hereto annexed, and nothing having bee~ paid to any claimant for such damages, NOW, THEREFORE, I, tho Town Superintendent of Highways nf ~he Town of Southold, Suffolk County, Heu York, D0 H~]FE~BY DETERMI~VE AND ORDER that a portion of a Town Highway shall be, and the same is hereby laid out in said Town as fc!lows, and is to ce known as "SOUND AVEIEUE," which shall be sixty-sLx feet in width:- SOU~ID AV Eh~UE The northerly line of said. Sound Avenue begins at a granite monument set at a southeastorly corner of land acquired by the County of Suffolk from Con Bullock for the construction of a por- tion of Middle Road, C.R. 27 and Mid. die Road Extens!on,C.R. 27A at the point where an easterly line of said acquisition intersect~ said northerly line, being about 320 feet easterly from Cox's Neck Road; from said point of beginning running 2 courses, as ~ollows: (].) Thc southerly line of said Sound Avenue is parallel with and 56.0 feet southerly from the above described northerly line~ measured at right angles thereto. TOWN OF SOUTHOLD: STATE OF NEW YORK In the Matter of a portion of : SOUND AVENUE RELEASE at Mattituck in the Town of Southolcl : County of Suffolk and State of New York. : WHEREAS, a portion of Sound Avenue, hereinafter described, at Mattituck, Town of Southold, County of Suffolk and State of New York, has been maintained by the Town of Southold for many years; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the parties hereto that said' portion of Sound Avenue be properly described and laid out. NOW, THEREFORE, in ~nsideration of $1.00 to us in hand paid by Harold D. Price, Superintendent of Highways of said SouthoLd Town, and in further consideration of the laying out of said portion of Sound Avenue, we, Con Bullock, Eva Bullock and Mary Pylke., owners of property adjoining said portion of Sound Avenue, do hereby release and dedicate to the Town of Southold all land through which said portion of Sound Avenue passes and described as follows: The northerly line of said Sound Avenue begins at a granite monument set at a southeasterly corner of land acquired by the County of Suffolk from 0on Bulloqk for the construction of a portion of Middle Road, C. R. 27 and Middle Road Extension, C. R. 27A at the point where an easterly line of said acquisition intersects said northerly line, being about 320 feet easterly from Cox~s Neck Road; from said point of beginning running 2 courses, as follows: (1) S. 79 deg 56 min 00 sec E. 624.81 feet to a monument; thence (2) S. 85 deg 03 min 20 sec E. 180.80 feet to a monument at the southwesterly corner of land of the Long Island Lighting Co. The southerly line of said Sound Avenue is parallel with and 66.0 feet southerly from the abofe described northerly line, measured at right angles thereto.
