Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice, Tuthi!l: RESOLVED: That the Assessors of the Town of Southold ~¥~o use their own automobiles in the performance of their duties for the Town will be compensated for the use of such auto- mobiles in an amot~mt not to exceed Eight Cents ($.08) per mile. Moved by Justice C!ark; seconded by Jt~tice A!bertson: RESOLVED: That the Suffolk Times~ Greenport~ New York~ and the Long Island Traveler-Matt~uck W~tchman~ Southold~ New York~ be and hereby are designated as the official ne~s- papers to publish the notice of the Receiver of Taxes that he is in receipt of such tax and assessment roll and warrants~ and that the taxes end assessments therein may be paid to the Receiver of Taxes at the times end with penalty other than his principal office when and where he will attend for the receipt of taxes and assessments in accordance with Section 22 of the Suffolk County Tax Act. Within si×ty (60) d~ys after the close of the fiscal year the treasurer of each Fire Distr~ct shall file in the office of the To%m Clerk and the State Comptroller a financial state- ment setting forth in detail the receipts and expenditures of the ~ire District for the previous fiscal year. (Section 181 of the Town Law). On or before the 15th day of January in each year the CoF~- issione~s of each improvement District shall file with the Town Clerk s financial report for the presiding year. (Section 215~ Subdivision 9~ of the Town Eaw). The Town Clerk should sdvise the Town Board as to existing contracts~ for lighting~ garbage collection~ fire protection~ wa2er supply~ and also leases of any property rented by the Town~ and specify the date of expiration of such contracts. (Sec~mon o4. Subdmvmsmon 2 and 19~ Section !83~ 19~ and 198~ Subdivision'6~?~8 and 9 of the Town Law). The Town Clerk should supply to the executive Secretary of the Association of Towns at the Hotel TenEyck~ Albany~ New York~ a correct list of the mames and addresses of all Town Officers and the Super~dsor should advise the members ~hat he~ the Town Clerk~ Justices of the Peace~ °uperintendent of Highways~ Assessors~ Welfare Officer~ and the Town Attorney will receive copies of meetings~ bulletins~ issued by the Town and ounty Officers Training School on subjects of interest ~nd importance to various officers. &djournment was at 4 P.M.
