REGULAR MEETING
November 15, 2023 HELD IN PERSON (and via Zoom)
6:00 PM
Present: Gerard Orientale, Jay Jansen
Derek Bossen, Erick Haas
This Regular Meeting of the Southold Town Tree Committee was called to order at 6:00 PM—this
was an in-person meeting and held via the Zoom Platform.
Approval of Minutes of meeting on Octoberl 8, 2023.
Discussion Items:
Jay Jansen will be meeting with Nancy Leskody to go over the type of tree and planting location
of the Memorial tree for Anne Trimble.
Frank Imbriano has gotten the Stakes for the trees.
We will also be contacting Phil Goldman's wife to speak to her about planting a Memorial tree in
memory of Phil.
Derek will now take on the responsibility of Arbor Day and make the necessary arrangements with
all of the participating schools.
Gerard wants to have a new system/plan for the planting of trees in place for the 2024 season and
will speak to the Committee about how to effectuate this at our next meeting.
We will next meet on December 13, 2023. This meeting was adjourned at 7:15 p.m.
