The Southoid To~m Board met at the office of Supervisor
Norman E. K!ipp at Greenport~ on Tuesday: September 8~ 19~3.
The meeting was called to order at 1:30 P.M. with the follow-
inE present: Supervisor Kiipp; Justices Terry: Tuthi!l~
Albertson and Clark; Town Attorney Terry and Town Clerk Booth.
The Board sat at once as a committee on Audit to examine
claims against the Town: concluding the Audit wor~ at 2:!~ P.Me

RESOLVE'D: That the minutes of the meeting held on Tuesday~

The hearing on the matter of purchasing a Jeep Pick-up
Truck for the Town Highway Department wes duly opened at
1:30 o'clock P,M. No person appeared before the Board to
speak either for or against the item mentioned in the legal
notice published in the Town Newspapers~ The hearing was duly
closed at 2:30 P.M.

County~ New York,

School Traffic Officer~ to act in such capacity at the

in the amo~mt of Four Dollars ($4o00) per day for each
school day worked payable in regular monthly pa~entso

(Constable) to serve in such capacity on the Southold Town
Police Force on a probationary period for three months~

RESOLP~D: That Joseph Sawiski be compensated for such
services in the amount of Ten Dollars and Fifty Cents
(~,I0,~0) per day~ payable in regular bi-weekly payments.

Ferry District~ be and the same is hereby approved as to
its ~orm sum, manner of execution and sufficiency of
surety therein.

RESOLVED: That the _outhold Town Board approve the action
of the Co~issioner~ of the Fishers Island Ferry District
in rescinding their action of August 20~ 19~2~ granting
the manager of the Fishers Zsland Ferry District an annual
increment of One H ~ndred Dollars ($!00.00) effective
August I~ 19~2~ and annually thereafter ~ti! a maximum of
Forty-five Hundred Dollars (~4~00.00) per year is reached~ -
and granting the Manager of the Fishers Island Ferry District
a salary of Forty-four Hundred ~oi!ars (~4400,00) per :year~
payable in regular semi monthly payments~ effective as of
August 16~ !9~3.
