BE IT ENACTED, by the Town Board of the Town of Southold as follows:
A LOCAL LAW TO AMEND THE ZONING MAP OF THE TOWN OF SOUTHOLD BY CHANGING THE
ZONING DISTRICT DESIGNATION OF SCTM # 1000-70-1-6 FROM AGRICULTURAL-
CONSERVATION (A-C) TO AFFORDABLE HOUSING DISTRICT (AHD).

THIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION NO. 638 OF 2003
WAS ADOPTED AT THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE SOUTHOLD TOWN BOARD
ON SEPTEMBER 23, 2003:
WHEREAS the Southold Town Board intends to ratify a previous zone change to conform to
the Town Code and other legal requirements, and
WHEREAS, the petitioner has requested to amend the Zoning Map of the Town of Southold by
changing the Zoning District designation of SCTM# 1000-70-1-6 from Agricultural-
Conservation (A-C) to Affordable Housing District (AHD); and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held on this Local Law on the 23rd day of September, 2003
at which time ail interested persons were given the opportunity to be heard thereon, now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Southold hereby enacts the following Local
Law:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN the Town Board of the Town of Southold has received a
petition to amend the Zoning Map of the Town of Southold by changing the Zoning
District designation of SCTM# 1000-70-1-6 fi:om Agricultural~Conservatiou (A-C} to
Affordable Housing District (AHD);
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that pursuant to Section 265 of the Town Law and
requirements of the Code of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, the Town
Board of the Town of Southold will hold a public hearing on the aforesaid local law at
the Southold Town Hall, 53095 Main Road, Southold, New York at 5:05 I).m., Tuesday,
Sel)tember 23, 2003 at which time all interested persons will be given an opportunity to
be heard.
The purpose of this Local Law is to ratify the change of Zoning District Designation of
SCTM # 1000-70-1-6 from Agricultural-Conservation (A-C) to Affordable Housing
District (AHD). The petitioner for this request is Southold Villas, Inc. The property is
approximately 18.021 acres located north of SR 25 (Main Road) approximately 1108'
east of Ackerly Pond Lane, Southold (also presently known as Blossom Lane, Apple Ct.,
and Jasmine Lane).
The Local Law is entitled, "A LOCAL LAW TO AMEND THE ZONING MAP OF THE
TOWN OF SOUTHOLD BY CHANGING THE ZONING DISTRICT DESIGNATION
OF SCTM # 1000-70-1-6 FROM AGRICULTURAL- CONSERVATION (A-C) TO
