The meeting was called to order at l:~O P.M. with the following present: 'Supervi,sor Klipp; Justices Terry; Tuthill~ Albertson and Clark; Town, Superintendent of Eighways PriceS Town Attorney Terry and Town Clerk Booth. ~,~ed by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Te~rv: ~0LVED: That the mindtes of the previous mee~ be and here- By~re duly approved as read. Vote of To~ Board:-ANes- Supervisor Klipp; Justices Terry, Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Justice Tuthill$ seconded by Justice Clark: RESOLVED: That the regular monthly audit meeting of this Board be held at the office of the Supervisor, Norman E. Klipp~ at Greenport, on Tuesday~ April 7~ 19~ at l:~O P.M. Vote of Town Board: Ayes- Supervisor Klipp; Justices Terry~ Tuthill~ and Clark. At 2 o'clock P.M. in accordance with a notice published according to law~ bids were opened for proposals to furnish the Town of Southold two 2-door Sedan standard model automobiles for use as police cars. The bids for the two cars were as follows: Greenport Auto Sales $1~78.28 Vail Bros. Inc.- ...... 2~8~.1~ Moved by Justice Albertson; seconded by Justice Terry: WHEREAS, the lowest bid was submitted by the Greenport ~uto Sa!es~ THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That Supervisor Norman E. Klipp be and he hereby is directed to enter into a contract with the Greenport Auto Sales for the purchase of two 2-door sedan Standard model automobiles at a total of $1~78.28. Vote of Town Board: kyes- Supervisor Klipp; Justices Terry. Tuthilt, A!bertson and Clark. ' Moved by Justice Albertson; seconded by Justice Clark: RESOLVED: That inasmuch as the required dedication has been do~y received, map of same duly filed~ and the necessary papers signed~ the Town Boar~ take over and maintain as a public highway "SWAMP R~AD"~ situate at Cutchogue, in the Town of Southold, New York. Vote of Town Board: Ayes- Supervisor Klipp; Justices Te~ry~ Tuthill, Albertson and Clark.- ~ Moved by Justice Albertson; seconded by Justice Tuthill: RESOLVED: That Bond No. 25~63~9 issued by The Fidelity and Casualty Company of New York, in the sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1~000.OO) on behalf of Angelo Jo~u Gada~ be and the same is hereby approved as to its form, sum, manner of execution and sufficiency of surety therein. Vote of Town Board: Ayes- Supervisor Klipp; Justices Terry, Tuthill~ Albertson and Clark. Moved by Justice Terry; seconded by Justice Tuthill: RESOLVED: That effective Aprit $~ 19~3, the salaries of the employees of the Southold Town Police Department shall be in- creased to the following amounts: Chief-$1~.O0 per day, Sergeant-$12.~O~ per~day~ Patrolman-$1~.O0 per day, Yatchmsn-$10.~O per day, and be i~ ftuwther RESOLVED: That the per diem compensation for each of the above employees be based on a six (6) day week, and be it further RESOLVED: That all employees of the Southold Town Police Department be compensated in regular bi-weekly payments. ~ote of Town Board: Ayes- Supervisor Klipp; Justices Terry, Tuthill, &lbertson and Clark. ~kdjournment was at ~ P.M.
