The meet- ing was called to order at 1:30 P.M. with the following present: Supervisor Klipp; Justicrs Terry~ T~t~ill~ Albertson and Clark; Town Superintendent of Highways Price, Town Attorney Terry and Town Clerk Booth. Otto VanTuyl appeared before the Board presenting a map of Marion Manor to be approved for sub-division p~poses. RESOLVED: That pursuant to Section 33~ of the Real PrOperty Law~ the Town Board does hereby approve the Map of ~RION MANOR~ ,situated at East ~arion~ Town of Southold~ New York~ owned and developed by Peter Blank and Son~ for sub-division purposes. It was agreed that the Chief of Police take the necessayy steps to have all Town Police Officers s~orn in as Deputy Sheriffs of Suffolk ~oun~y. Moved by Justice Albertson; seconded by Justice Cl_rk.~ ' RESOLVED: That the Police Report for the month of February be accepted by the Town Board and placed on file. Moved by Justice Terry; seconded by Justice Clark: RESOLVED: That General Bills in the sum of $2~401o19~ Lighting District Bills in the sum of $1~379.82~ Fishers Island Ferry District Bills in the sum of $10~3~0.73~ be and the same are hereby ordered paid. Vote of Town Board: Ayes- Supervisor Klipo: Justice ~ww~ Tuthill~ Albert~n and Cl~r~~ Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Justice Albertson: RESOLVED: That the Town Board of the Town of Southold approve the action of the Board of Commissioners of the Fishers lsland Ferry District on the appointment of Ann Carolyn Wall as Jr. Clerk of the said District with com- pensation of One Dollar ($1.00) per hour~ said compensation to be payable monthly~ and not to exceed the Annual s~m of Seven Hundred Dollars ($700.00)~ and be it further RESOLVED: That said appointment be effective as of February 18~ 19~3 · Vote of Town Board: Ayes- Supervisor Klipp; Justices Terry~ Tuthill~ Albertson and Clark. Moved by Justice Terry; seconded ~y Justice Clark: W~EREAS~ It becomes necessary for the Commissioners of the Fishers ~sland Ferry District. to appoint some p~rson to fill a vacancy on the Board of Commissioners of the Fishers Island Ferry District~ cause~ by the death of Hans Hansen~Now~ There- fore~ be it RESOLVED: That the Town Board of the Town of Southold approves the action of the Co~issioners of the Fishers Island Ferry District of the appointments of Rowland Oswald as Commissioner of the Fishers island Ferry District to serve in such capacity until the next annual election of the district~ and be it further RESOL~D: That such appointment be effective as of February 27~ 19~3.
