The meeting was called to order at 1:30 P.M. with the following present: Supervisor KlipD; Justices Terry, Tu~hill, Albe~-tson and C!lark; Tow~ SUP~rintentent of Highways Price; Town Attorney Terry and Iown ~lerk Booth. The Board sat at once as a committee on Audit to e~amine claims against the Town concluding, the audit work at 2 P.M. Move by Justiec Albertson; seconded ~y Justice Tuthill: RESOLVED: That the minutes of the previous meeting be and hereby are duly approved as read. Vote of~ Town Board: Ayes- Supervisor Klipp; Justices Terry~ Tuthill~ Albertson and C~rk. Moved by Justice Albertson;~ seconded by Justice Clark: RESOLVED: That Town Officials ~hat desire to attend the annual meeting of the Association of owns of the State of ~ew York~ to be held at New York~ N.Y. on February 4~ ~ and 6~ 19~3~ be and hereby are authorized to attend~ and be it further RESOLVED: That the necessary expenses incurred while attendi~ng said meeting is a legal charge against the Town. Klipp be designated to represent the Town of Southold at the Annual Meeting of the Association of Towns of the State of New York~ to be held at Ne~ Y~rk~ N.Y., on February ~ ~ and 6~ 19~3, and to cast the vote of the aforesaid Town~ pursuant to Section 6 of Article l~l of the Constitution and By-Laws of said Association~ and t~at~Justice Harry H. Within sixty (60) days after the close of the fiscal year the Treasurer of each Fire District shall file in the office of the Town Clerk and the State Comptroller a financial statement setting forth in detail the receipts and expenditures of the Fire Dis~r~ct for the previous fiscal year, (Section 181 of the Town Law), On or before the l~th day of January in each year the Commissioners of each Improvement District shall file with the Town Clerk a financial report for the ~residing fiscal year. (Section 215~ Subdivision 9~ of the Town Law). The Town Clerk should advise the Town Bosrd as to existing con- tracts~ for lighting~ garbage collection, fire protection, water supply, and also leases of any property rented by the To~ and specSfy the date of expiration of such contractsj (Section 65~ Subdivision 2 and 19, Section 183, 18$.and 1~8~ Subdivision 6, 7, 8 and 9 of the To~ Law.) The Town Clerk should supply th the Executive Secretary of the Association of Towns at the Hotel Ten Eyck, ~lbany, New York, a correct list of the ~ames and addresses of all Town Officers and the Supervisor should advise the members that he~ the Town Clerk~ Justices of the Peace.
