DEC-has no objection to-the replacement of the bulkhead, stairs, andgroin, however, please revise site plans to address the following items: 1. The Bulkhead Section drawing (Drawing 5) appears to show excavation seaward of the proposed bulkhead. Please remove any excavation seaward of the bulkhead from the plans. All fill must be pulled landward when removing the bulkhead, no excavation of the beach is permitted. 2. The existing conditions drawing(Site Survey; Drawing 4)shows the distances from the existing residence to the existing bulkhead and groin. Please also include these distances on the proposed overhead view(Site Plan; Drawing 3)-to demonstrate the in- place replacement. If these changes are acceptable to your client, please submit two copies of revised site plans to my attention. Processing of this application will resume upon receipt of the above items/information.
