WAIVER OF ~OTICE DF BOARD MEETI~{G We, the undersigned, being ~members of the Town Board of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, do hereby severally waive notice of the time, place and purpose of the meeting of the Town Board to be- held at Southold, in the Town of Southold, New York, on Wednesday, July 19, 1961, and do hereby consent that the same beheld on said date for the ~ransaction of any business which may properly come be- fore said meeting° Dated:. Richmond, Clerk A special meeting of the Southold Town Board was held at the Town Clerk's Office Southold, N.Y. on Wednesday, July 19, 1961 The members of the Board having waived no=ice of the time, place and purpose of the meeting, the meeting was called to order by the Supervisor, Lester M. Atbertson, at 11:30 P.M. with the following present: Supervisor Lester M. Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Grathwohl; Justices Tuthill and Clark; Town Attorney Tasker; Supt. of Hoghways Price and Town Clerk Richmond. Moved.by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Councilman Demarest; WHEREAS, L. Barron Hill and Adelaide Hill, his wife, have made written application to the Town Board dated July 11, 1961, to dedicate a certain highway at Southold, T~wn of Southold, New York, to be known as CALVES NECK ROAD, being more fully described in said application, together with a release executed by the owners thereof, and 'WHEREAS, the Highway Supt. has inspected said highways and has advised the Town Board that proposed said highways comply with all respects to the specifications for the dedication of said highway in the Town of Southold, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That in accordance with Section 171 of the Highway Law of the State of New York, consent be and the same is hereby given to the Supt. of Highways to make an order laying out the aforesaid highway to consist of lands described in said application and shown on certain maps on said application and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk b~ and he k~reby is author- ized and directed to forthwith cause such deed, dedication and release to be recorded in the office of the Clerk of County of Suffolk. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albert~on; Councilmen Demarest and Grathwohl; Justices Tuthill and Cl~rk. Moved by Councilman Grathwohl: seconded by Justice Clark: WHEREAS, Southold Planning Board has prepared an official report and recommendation upon the proposals to,mend the Building Zone Ordinance of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, now, therefore, be it RESOLVED: That a public hearing will be held by the Southold Town Board at the Supervisor's Office, in Greenport, N.Y. ~n Tuesday, Aug. 8, 1961 at 7:30 P.M. on the following proposed amendment to the Southold Town Zoning Ordinance, to wit: By amending Article III, Section 300 of Said Ordinance by inserting therein a new paragraph to be paragraph 6 B to read as follows: 6B - "Cemeteries and the necessary incidental structures when authorized as a special exception by the Board of Appeals as hereinafter provided". Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Grathwbhl; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Moved by Councilman Grathwohl; seconded by Justice Clark: WHEREAS, Southold Town Planning Board ha~prepared an official report and reco,~endation upon the petition of GEORGE W. SMITH & SONS and SOUTHf~.D DEV. CORP. on certain real property situated in Southold, N.Y. RESOLVR~: That a public hearing will be ~eld by the Southold Town Board at the Supervisor's Office, on Tues., Aug. 8, 1961, at 7:30 P.M. on the above mentioned petition and that the TOWn Clerk be and he hereby is authorized and directed to cause a notice of said hearing to be published in the Suffolk Times, pUrsuant~to~ the requirements of law. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-SuperviSor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and Grathwohl; Justices Tuthill and · clark. Moved by Councilman Grathwohl; seconded by Justice Clark: WHEREAS, Southold Planning Board has prepared an official ~report and recommendation upon the petition of GUIDO CIACIA for a change of zone from "A" Residential and Agricultural District to "B" Business District on certain real property situated in Arshamomaque, Greenport, NiY. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That a public hearing will be held. by the Southold Town Board at the Supervisor's Office, on Tuesday, Aug. 8, 1961, at 7:30 P.M. on the above mentioned petition and that the Town Clerk be and he hereby is authorized and directed to cause a notice of said hearing to be p~blished in the Suffolk Times, pursuant to the requirements of law. Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest. and Grathwohl; Justices Tuthill and Clark. Mmved by Councilman Grathwohl; seconded by Justice Clark: RESOLVED: That Supervisor Lester M. Albertson be and he hereby is author- ized to advertise for proposals to furnish to the Town of Southold one (1) used TD-6 International Crawler Tractor (or equal) with one cubic yard hydraulic bucket loader, a used 1952 T6 International Crawler tractor to be taken in trade as part payment. Bids are to be publicly opened~-and read at 3:30 p.M. on August 8, 1961, ~ Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Councilmen Demarest and~ Grathwohl; Justices Tuthill and Clark.
