Re: Dedication of Highways at Yennecott Park

With respect to the above captioned matter, we enclose herewith the
following documents for filing in your office.
(1) Dedication and Release acknowledged July 8, 1971
and recorded in the Suffolk County Clerk's Office on
June 27, 1972 in Liber 7185 of deeds at page 301.
(2) Deed from Donald E. Tuthill and Lorna E. Tuthill
to the Town of Southold dated July 8, 1971 and recorded
in the Suffolk County Clerk's Office on June 27, 1972
in Liber 7185 of deeds at page 268.
In order that we may have a record for our files will you please acknow-
ledge receipt of the enclosures by signing and returning to us the copy
of this letter enclosed for that purpose.

WE, DONALD E,. TUTHILI_~and L,ORNA E. TUTHILL, being the
owners of certain land,~in Southold, Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New
yor.k~~ and included within which land are proposed highways known as
Y'ENNECOTT DRIVE, TUTHILL ROAD and LONG CREEK DRIVE described
in the application in the above entitled matter dated July 8, 1971;
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of One ($1.00) DoLlar to as
in hand paid by Raymond C. Dean, Superintendent of Highways of said Town
of Sout~-01d, and in further consideration of laying out of the new highways
known as YENNECOTT DRIVE, TUTHILL ROAD and LONG CREEK DRIVE
do hereby release and dedicate to the Town of Southold all of the land hereto-
fore owned by us within said proposed highways as follows:
1. The road is known as YENNECOTT DRIVE as shown and

Van Tuyl & Son, Greenport, New York~ May 1, 1968, and filed in the office

2. The highway is known as TUTHILL ROAD as shown and desig-
nated on a certain map entitled "Map of Yennecott Park, situate at So~tthold,

Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York" surveyed by Van Tuyl & Son,
Greenport, New York, May 1, 1968, and filed in the Office of the Clerk of
the County of Suffolk on the 9th day of October, 1968, as 1VIap # 5187.
3. The road is known as LONG CREEK DRIVE as shown and
designated on a certain map entitled "Map of Yennecott Park. situate at
. Mouthold, Town of Mouthold, Suffolk County, New York", surveyed by
Van Tuyl & Son, Greenport, New York, 1V~ay 1, 1968, and filed in the Office
of the Clerk of the County of Suffolk on the 9th day of October, 1968, as
Map # 5187.
And we do release the said Town of Southold from all damages by
highways.

Clerk's Office as 1V~ap # 5187, in the direct extension easterly
of said northerly lin% N. 85°31' E. - 55.04 feet to the westerly
line of a 20 foot drainage easement; thence along said westerly
line, S. 12°38' E. - 23.65 feet to said northerly line of Long
Creek Drive; thence along said northerly line, N. 72°38' W.
- 62.91 feet to the point of BEGINNING.

BEGINNING at a point on the northerly line of Long
Creek Drive, 515.81 feet easterly along said northerly line
from Tuthill Road~ said point of beginning being the southeasterly
corner of lot 8 and the southwesterly corner of lot 9~ as shown

a 20 foot drainage easement; thence southerly along said westerly
line on a curve to the right, having a radius of 117.71 feet~ a

Map # 5187, N. 50° 45' W. - 66.57 feet to the point of BEGINNING.
Parcel IV
BEGINNING a~'a point on the southerly line of Long
Creek Drive, 525.69 feet easterly along said southerly line from
TuthLll Road; from said point of beginning running along said
southerly line of Long Creek Drive~ S. 72o38' E. - 87.39 feet;
thence through lot 21 and lot 22, as shown on "Map of Yennecott
Park", filed in the Suffolk County Clerk's Office as Map # 5187,
N. 88008' W. - 93.04 feet to the easterly line of a 20 foot drainage
easement; thence northerly along said easterly line on a curve
to the left, having a radius of 137.71 feet, a distance of 25~0 feet
to the point of BEGINNING.
All of the above easements shall at all times be deemed to be
and shall be a continuing covenant running with the land and shall be binding
upon the successors and assigns of the party of the first part herein.
