WAIVER OF NOTICE OF ~OWN BOARD MEETING
We, the undersigned, being members of the Town Board of the Town of
South01d, Suffolk County, New York, do hereby severally waive notice
of the time, place and purpose of the meeting of the Town B~ard to
be held at Greenpor~, in the Town 0f Southold, New York, on ~edn'es-
day, J~e 21, 1961, and do hereby consent that the same be heid
said date for the transaction of any business which may pr0p~eri~,~

A special meeting of the Southold Town Board was held at the Super'-
visor's Office, 16 So~th Street, Greenport, N.Y. on Wed.,"June
1961, the members of the Board having waived notice of the time,
place and purpose of the meeting. The meeting was called to order
by the Supervisor, Lester M. Albert~on, at 3:00 P.M. with the follow-
ing Present: Supervisor Albertson; Uouncilmen Demarest and Grathwohl;~
Justices Tu~hill and Clark;Town Clerk Richmond.
Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Justice Tuthill;
RESOLVED: That the m~nutes of June 6, 1961, be and they hereby are
duly approved.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; Co~nciimen Demarest
and Grathwohl; Justices Tuthill~nd Clark.
Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Councilman Demarest;
WHEREAS, the Southold Fire Department has applied'to the Town'Clerk
for a Bingo License, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board has examined the application and 'after in'
vestigating the matter, duly made findings and determinations ~~s~
required by law,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Supervisor be and heher~
by is authori~e~and directed to execute on behalf of the Town'Board
the finding~a~d determinations required by law and it is further-
RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk be add he hereby is directed t~ issue
a Bingo License to the Southold Fire Department.

RESOLVED: That the Town Clerk of the Town of South01d, he'and'he
hereby is directed to request the Long Island Lighting Company to
remove the present 100 cp light and install one (1) Mercury '~ap0r
light in the Mattituck Light District on LIL Co. Pole ~5, Wickham
and Pike Street, Mattituck, N.Y.
Vote of Town Board: Ayes-Supervisor Albertson; councilmen De~arest
and Grathwohl; Justices Tuthill and Clark.
Moved by Justice Clark; seconded by Councilman Grathwohl;
· RESOLVED: That the pay rate of Raymond E~ Latham, employed at the
Town Dump, Town of Southold, be and the same is fixed at $1..75 per
hour, effective as of June 21,1961

Moved by Justice Tuthill; seconded by Justice. Clark;
RESOLVED: That Supervisor Lester M. Albertson ~e and hereby is
authorized to enter into a contract with R~ T. Preston, Inc. for
extending the present bulkhead 60 feet at Gull Pond, the sum not
to exceed $1800~00 as per contract

and Grathwohl; Justices Tuthill and Clark.
