The Board of Trustees reviewed your request to remove the two (2) trees as were described, located within 100' of the wetlands as seen by Trustee A. Nicholas Krupski. The Board of Trustees determined that these two (2) trees may be removed at this time. No permit will be required to remove these trees. Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office. This is not a determination from any other agency. The approximately 60' high Pitch Pine adjacent to the marina has died due to natural causes. The approximately 14' high, live, Ailanthus, located just southwest of the marina is highly invasive, a host for the spotted lantern fly and should be removed. Neither tree is located in the approved vegetative restoration area. The tree locations are identified on the enclosed plot plan, are depicted in the enclosed photographs, and are marked in the field with pink ribbon for your inspection. Should you require any additional information before a letter authorizing the tree removals can be issued, please let us know, and we thank you for your prompt attention to this request.
