GREETINGS:
KNOW YE, that Costas Stars, residing az East Marion, New York,
for and zn consideration of the sum of $1.00, lawful money of the United
States of ~kmerica, to him in hand paid by the Town of Southold, a
municipal corporation in the County of Suffolk and State of Ne%v York, the
receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby dedicate~ relea
and convey to the said Town of Southold, for highway purpose, the following
described land, to wit:

ALL that certain piece or parcel of land shown on '~l/fap of Stars
Manor", filed in the Suffolk county clerk's office September 19, 1963, as
map number 3864, referred to on said map as Stars Road, and bounded

westerly corner of land of Schroeder and the southeasterly corner of land of
Stars; from said point of beginning running along said northerly line of the Main

and further have remised, released, and forever discharged the said Town of
Southold: its successors and assigns, of and from all and all manner of ac-
tion and actions, cause and causes of actions, suits, debts, dues, sums of
money, accounts reckoning, bonds, bills, specialties, covenants, contracts,
controversies, agreemenis~ promises, variances, trespasses, damages,
judgments, extents, executions, claims and demands whatsoever, in law or
in equity, which against the said Town of Southold he ever had~ now has or
which he or his heirs or assigns hereinafter can, shall, or may have for,
upon or by reason of any matter, cause or things whatsoever from the
beginning of the world to the day of the date of these presents, and particularl
for any ~rr~age that may be occasioned to the undersigned because of the ac-
ceptance by said Town of Southold of certain lands in said Town of Southold,
for the dedication as a public highway or road called ~'Stars Road".

DEDICATION AND RELEASE

Upon reading and filing the dedication and release of Costas Stars,
dated JUly 15. i967,
duly acknowledged, dedicating and releasing the
necessary lands for the proposed highway known as Stars Road in the Town of
Southold, County of Suffolk and State of New York, more particularly
described in said deed of dedication and release, it is hereby
RESOLVED, that consent be and the same hereby is given that the Town
Superintendent of Highways of the Town of Southold make an order laying out
the aforesaid town highway to consist of the lands described in said deed of
dedication and release, all in accordance with the provisions of the Highway
Law of the State of New York; and it is further
RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk be and he hereby is directed to forth-
with cause such release to be recorded in the office of the Clerk of the County
of Suffolk, and, upon its return~ to attach it hereto.

Pursuant to §171 of the Highway Law, and upon the anneal consent of
the Town Board of the Town of Southold, New York, and the annexed deed of
dedication and release from Costas Stars, residing at East Nfarion', New ¥or!
being the sole owner of and person interested in the lands through which
said highway is proposed to be opened,
l~ow, Therefore,I, Raymond Dean, as Superintendent of Highways of the
Town of Southold in the County of Suffolk and State of New York, do hereby
determine and order that a town highway shall be and the same is hereby laid
out in said town as particularly described in the annexed deed from Costas
Stars~dated July 15, 1967, providedj however, that this order is subject to
the terms and conditions of the consent of the Town Board of the Town of
