APPLICATION FOR CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY
This application must be fi21ed in by typewriter OR ink and submitted to the building
inspector with the following: for new building or new use:
1. Final survey of property with accurate location of all buildings, property lines,
-streets, and unusual natural or topographic features.
2. ~ Final Approval from Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage-disposal(S-9 form).
3. Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters.
4. Sworn statement from plumber certifying that the solder used in system contains
less than 2½10 of i% lead.
5. Commercial building, industrial building, multiple residences and similar buildings
and installations, a certificate of Code Compliance from architect or engineer
responsible for the building.
Submit Planning Board Approval of completed site plan requirements.

For existing buildings (prior to April 9, 1957) non-conforming uses, or buildings and
"pre-existing" land uses:
1. Accurate survey of property showing all property lines, streets, buildimg and
unusual natural or topographic features.
2. ~A properly completed application and a consent to.inspect signed by the applicant]
If a Certificate of Occupancy is denied, the Building Inspector shall state the
reasons therefor in writing to the applicant.

Dear Mr. Kasschau:
During a review of our files it was noted that the above
building permit has expired, and a Certificate of Occupancy has
never been issued.
We did a final inspection on Nov. 9, 1990 and you were
notified that a CO application, Underwriters Certificate and a
$25.00 fee was needed. Enclosed is the application. Please
submit to this office with the necessary papers, and we will
issue the CO.
According to the Code of the Town of Southold a Certificate
of Occupancy is required before using the pool.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call
me at 765-1802.

permit has expired and you have not called for a final in-
spection or filed for a Certificate of Occupancy.
The Code of the Town of Sourthold requires a Certificate
of Occupancy before using the pool. Please call our office to
set up an inspection. Also you will have to have an Under-
writers Certificate.

This permit was taken out 2/26/88 and has now expired.
According to our records you have not had an inspec-
tion and do not have a Certificate of Occupancy for
your pool.
Please schedule an inspection. After the pool passes
the inspection you must file for a Certificate of Oc-
cupancy. In order to issue the C.O. you will need an
Underwriters Certificate and $25.00.

b. Plot plan showing location of lot and of build/rigs on premises, relationship to adjoining premises or public streets
or areas, and giving a detailed description of layout of property must be drawn on the diagram which is part of this appli-
cation.
¢. The work covered by this application may not be commenced before issuance of Building Permit.
d. Upon approval of this application, the Building Inspector will issued a Building Permit to the applicant. Such permit
shall be kept on the premises available for inspection throughout the work.
e. No building shall be occupied or used in whole or in part for any purpose whatever until ~ Certificate of Occupancy
shall have been granted by the Building Inspector.
