These revisions included raising the grade at a minimum of 50% of the perimeter of the residence to clearly define the lowest level a cellar. This was done in the following manner: - The grade at the front elevation remains as it was, fully exposed. - The grade at the rear elevation was raised 4'- 0", 100% cellar. - The grade at the left elevation was raised 4'- 0", 38% cellar. - The grade at the right elevation was raised 4'- 0', 100% cellar. The total length of this cellar area is 143.8 lin.ft, of which most is of masonry constructior~ A total of 55% of the exterior walls now have a grade where the height is 4'- 0" above the lower level floor and therefore cannot be deemed a story.
