After the recent inspection of the referenced dwelling, and a full analysis of the related structural consequences therein, it is my professional opinion, based on seventeen years of direct practical experience, that the 2x4 attic knee wall framing, at the stair access location, which effectively raised a portion of the roof framing to a 4:12 pitch, will provide safe support for the life of the structure.
