PresenC were: Charles Grigonis, Jr., Chairman; Terry R. Tuthill; Gerard P. Goehringer. Absent were: Robert J. Doug- lass and Serge Doyen, Jr. On motion made by Mr. Grigonis, seconded by Mr. Goehringer, it was RESOLVED, that the following appeals be scheduled and advertised for public hearings to be held at the next regular meeting of this Board, to wit, May 1, 1980 at the below speci- fied times: 7:35 P.M. Appeal No. 2686. Application of Lorne Greene. 7:50 P.M. Appeal No. 2691. Application of Samuel Prellwitz. 8:00 P.M. Appeal No. 2689. Application of Arnold D. Gardner. 8:10 P.M. Appeal No. 2688. Application of George R. Tiebel. 8:25 P.M. Appeal No. 2690. Application of Stephen Eggers. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Messrs. Grigonis, T~thill, and Goeh- ringer. Absent: Messrs. Douglass and Doyen. Southold To~-n Board of Appeals -2- April 18, 1980 On motion made by Mr. Grigonis it was · seconded by Mr. Goehringer, RESOLVED, in the application of LORNE GREENE, by Richter Home Improvement Co., Appeal No. 2686 for permission to con- struct detached garage in the frontyard area at premises known as 1455 Aquaview Avenue, East Marion, New York, that after review of the Environmental Assessment Short Form, which has indicated that no significant adverse effects to the environment were likely to occur, and review of the documents submitted therewith, this Board has determined that this project if implemented as planned is classified as a Type II Action, not having a significant effect upon the environment (Section 617.13 of the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act, and Section 44-4B of the Southo!d Town Code). Vote of the Board: Ayes: Messrs. Grigonis, Tuthill and Goehringer. Absent: Messrs. Doyen and Douglass. On motion made by Mr. Goehringer, seconded by Mr. Tuthill, it was RESOLVED, in the application of GEORGE R. and HARRIET J. TIEBEL, Appeal No. 2688 for approval of insufficient area and width and approval of access at premises located at the south side of Peconic Bay Boulevard, Laurel, New York· that after review of the Environmental Assessment Short Form, which has indicated that no significant adverse effects to the environment were likely to occur, and review of the documents submitted therewith, this Board has determined that this project if implemented as planned is classified as a Type II Action, not having a significant effect upon the environment (Section 617.13 of the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act, and Section 44-4B of the Southold Town Code). Vote of the Board: Ayes: Messrs. Grigonis, Tuthill and Goehringer. Absent: Messrs. Doyen and Douglass. On motion made by Mr. Grigonis , seconded by Mr. Goehringer, it was RESOLVED, in the application of ARNOLD D. GARDNER, Appeal No. 2689 for permission to construct addition with insufficient rearyard area at premises known as 260 Robinson Road, Greenport, New York· that after review of the Environmental Assessment Short Form, which has indicated that no significant adverse effects to the environment were likely to occur, and review of the documents submitted therewith, this Board has determined that this project if implemented as planned is classified as a Type ti Action, not having a significant effect upon the environment (Section 617.13 of the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act, and Section 44-4B Southold Town Board of Appeals -3- April 18, 1980 of the Southold Town Code). Vote of the Board: Ayes: Messrs. Grigonls, Tuthilt and Goehringer. Absent: Messrs. Doyen and Douglass. On motion made by Mr. Geohringer, seconded by Mr. Grigonis, it was RESOLVED, in the application of SAMUEL B. PRELLWITZ, Appeal No. 2691 for permission to construct second one-family dwelling on single lot located at the south side of Indian Neck Lane, Peconic, New York, that after review of the Environmental Assessment Short Form, which has indicated that no significant adverse effects to the environment were likely to occur, and review of the documents submitted therewith, this Board has determined that this project if implemented as planned is classified as a Type II Action, not having a significant effect upon the environment (Section 617.13 of the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act, and Section 44-4B of the Southold Town Code). Vote of the Board: Ayes: Messrs. Grigonis, Tuthill and Goehringer. Absent: Messrs. Doyen and Douglass. On motion made by Mr. Goehringer, seconded by Mr. Grigonis, it was RESOLVED, in the application of STEPHEN EGGERS, by Arthur Simerling~ Appeal No. 2690, for permission to con- struct swimming pool in sideyard area at premises known as 6625 Vanston Road, Nassau Point, Cutchogue, New York, that after review of the Environmental Assessment Short Form, which has indicated that no significant adverse effects to the environment were likely to occur, and review of the documents submitted therewith, this Board has determined that this project if implemented as planned is classified as a Type II Action, not having a significant effect upon the environment (Section 617.13 of the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act, and Section 44-4B of the Southold Town Code). Vote of the Board: Ayes: Messrs. Grigonis, Tuthill and Goehringer. Absent: Messrs. Doyen and Douglass. On motion made by Mr. Grigonis , seconded by Mr. Tuthill, it was '~Southold Town Board of Appeals -4- April 18, 1980 RESOLVED, that the secretary request of the applicant in ApDeal No. 2685, EMANUEL and VENITA LORRAS, through the Office of the Building Inspector, whether or not a Flood Damage Prevention Law Development Permit has been apptied for and issued; and if not, whether the Building Department has established the requirements for the construction of the proposed project inasmuch as it is the opinion of this Board that the subject property is in a V-Zone as shown on the Flood Maps of the Town of Southold. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Messrs. Grigonis, Tuthilt, and Goehringer. Absent: Messrs. Douglass and Doyen. On motion by Mr. Grigonis, seconded by Mr. Goehringer, it was RESOLVED, that the meeting be declared closed at 4:55 o'clock P.M. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Messrs. Griqonis, Tuthitl, and Goehringer.
