Southold, NY 11971 Re: McKeand - Goldman Residence 100 Salt Mash Lane Peconic, NY SCTM# 1000-68-3-11.1 Dear Mr. Michael Collins: We are the engineering firm that has prepared the site plan for the above referenced project. Our design for this project is based on the following design criteria: - 1. We have provided for the drainage for the runoff for the main building as well as the garage, outdoor shower and for the pervious driveway. - 2. The drainage was designed for a ten year storm event, 2" rainfall. - 3. The drainage calculations use a Runoff Coefficient of 1.0 for the roof outdoor shower and the pervious gravel driveway. This runoff Coefficient was used in the driveway area to account for the slopes encountered in the design. - 4.The bottom of the drywells are set 2'minimum above the ground water elevation. - 5. The grading retained and regraded areas proposed are the minimum required to install the sanitary system as per the Suffolk County Health Department regulations. We have tried to minimize the amount of disturbance to install the driveway and parking area. This has resulted in a driveway with a maximum slope of 17%. We do not see a way of reducing this slope. This slope is less than the existing driveway. E E D NOV 21 2022 Southold T� ®oard of TwstIO 6. The regrading was designed with the attempt to minimize excavation, fill, destruction of natural vegetation and to not exceed the existing grade slope. We believe that we have provided the most efficient solution for this property. The plan meets "Town of Southold Code Chapter 236 — Stormwater Management".
