Re: Proposed Purchase of a property owned by Elizabeth Lind Revocable Trust

This action is for the proposed purchase of an 8.06+acre property owned by Elizabeth Lind Revocable Trust
located at 2000 Lighthouse Road, Southold within the Agricultural-Conservation(A-C)zoning district, for
open space preservation. The exact area of the purchase is subject to survey.
The purchase will be funded by the Town's Community Preservation Fund. There is a barn located on the
property, that will be removed after acquisition. The purpose of this acquisition is for open space and passive
recreational purposes.
The action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of Southold
Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP)Policy Standards. Based upon the
information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this department as well as
the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the proposed action is CONSISTENT with the
Policy Standards and therefore is CONSISTENT with the LWRP.
