All concrete shall be 3,000 PSI strength after twenty- ezght (28) days. 2. Aggregates shall be as per ACI recommendation for normal weight concrete. 3. Portland cement shall conform to the latest edztion of the ASTM CISO. MASONRY 1. Mortar shall be in conformance with applicable ASTM standards. 2. Block shall be 8"X 8"X 16" regular concrete masonry unit (3,OOOp.s.z. min.). 3. Vertical reinforcing shall be #5 re-bar at 16"o.c. with concrete filled cell. 4. Horizontal reinforcing (dura-wall) shall be every other course. STEEL 1. Structural steel shall be new, clean and stazght and shall conform to the latest edztion of the ASTM A36. 2. A11 structural steel work shall comply with the specification for the design, fabrication and construction of structural steel for buildings of the American Institute of Steel Construction, latest edition. Interior walls to receive one (1) coat sealer and two (2) coats flat latex paint, Ben3amin Pioore or approved equal. Color to be selected. 10. Interior woodwork shall receive two (2) coats clear polyurethane, satin finish, by Benaamin Moore or approved equal. It is my understanding that you are now applying to the Town of Southold for a variance from the 100 ft, bluff setback requuirement. Please be advised that our jurisdiction is to the top of the bluff. Therefore, we have no authority to set forth any setback distance from the bluff. At some time in the future we will be administering the Coastal Erosion Hazard Act and will then be in a position to require setbacks consistent with those regulations, but until then have no requirements.
