We have reviewed our structural analysis and found that the proposed alterations can safely support the required Building Code loads including wind loads imposed by 130 mph wind speed as per ASCE?-10—ultimate design wind speed. Further,the R values for the new walls, the roof and the floors are designed as per 2020 Energy Conservation Code of New York State requirements as follows. • Roof of house including dormers: open cell spray foam (R-49) • Exterior walls of the addition (1 st and 2nd fl.): batt insulation (R-20) • New floor system (in 1 st floor bedrooms): batt insulation (R-19).
