A. This application~ must be filled in by typewriter OR ink and submitted to the building
inspector with the following: for new building or new use:
1. Final survey of property with accurate location of all buildings, property lines,
streets, and unusual natural or topographic features.
~. 2. Final Approval from Health Dept.- of water supply and sewerage-disposal(S-9 form).
3. Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters.
4. Sworn statement from plumber certifying that the solder used in system contaims
~ less than 2/10 of 1% lead.
5. Commercial building, industrial building, multiple residences and similar buildings
and installations, a certificate of Code Compliance from' architect or engineer
responsible for the building.
6. Submit Planning Board Approval of completed site plan requirements.
B. For existing buildings (prior to April 9, 1957) non-conforming uses, or buildings and
"pre-existing" land uses:
1. Accurate survey of property showing ali property lines, streets, building and
unusual natural or topographic features.
2... A properly completed application and a consent to inspect signed by the applicant.
If a Certificate o£ Occupancy is denied, the Building Inspector shall state the
reasons therefor in writing to the applicant.

the vicinity is partly built up with
permanent buildings and an average

SECTION 306--In case of a corner

sage of this Ordinance, a front yard

streets produced to a point of inter-
section and if no average setback has
been established then a front yard,
thirty-five (35) feet deep, shall be re-
quired on each street front, or may be
decreased as a special exception by the
Board of Appeals a~ hereinafter pro-

SECTION 307--"A" SIDE YARDS.--
In the "A" Residential and Agricultural
District, there shall be two (2) side
yards, one (1) on each side of the
buildings, the total aggregate of both
sides to be twenty-five (25) feet and
no one (1) side yard t/~..be less than
ten (10) feet wide.

C. In the case of single and separate ownership of a nonconform-
ing lot located in a subdivision plat, approved after April 9,
1957, by the Planning Board of the Town of Southold and filed
with the County Clerk of Suffolk County, relief for all front,
side and rear yard and area dimensions shall be granted to the
extent that such front, side and rear yard and area dimensions
were required at the time the map was originally filed with
the County Clerk of Suffolk County.
§ 100245. Repairs and maintenance.
Notwithstanding any of the foregoing regulations, nothing in this
Article shall be deemed to prevent normal maintenance and repair of
any building or the carrying out upon the issuance of a building
permit of major structural alterations or demolitions necessary in the
interest of public safety.
§ 100246. Involuntary moves.
Sections 100-241A and B and § 100-243A, herein are not intended
to apply to involuntary movements of uses or structures as a result of
condemnation actions or other litigation.

district.
