Purpose. The Purpose of the amendment is to improve safety for emergency vehicles, pedestrian and passenger vehicles, as well as dealing with impacts to the public's health, safety and welfare resulting from vehicles parking and standing on a portion of Luther's Road, also known as Breakwater Road and Naugles Drive in the hamlet of Mattituck. II. Amendment. The Southold Town Code is hereby amended by removing the struck through words and adding the bold and underlined words, as follows: § 189-2 Designation of parking areas requiring permits. B.The following road end areas are hereby designated as Town of Southold "Parking by Southold Town Permit Only" areas: (54) Luther's Road, also known as Breakwater Road at Mattituck, beginning at the Mattituck Park District Gate extending southerly 200 feet on both sides. § 260-8 Parking prohibited at all times. The parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited at all times in any of the following locations and at any other location where signage indicates "no parking": (If additional space is needed, attach pages the same size as this sheet,and number each.)
