Tax Map #1000-79-07-53 Dear Mr. Javaheri: Regarding our conversation about moving tenants into your house under construction at 8110 North Bayview Road, Southold, I am sure you are aware that a Certificate of Occupancy is required before anyone can occupy a dwelling under construction. You have an active Building Permit #194892 to cover all construction being done but that hardly entitles you to move tenants into the house. A Certificate of Occupancy is required. A final inspection was made on September 11, 1991. The only thing that was found to be holding up the CO at that time was the heavy undergrowth around the house. I explained this to you by phone conversation and also left a copy of my inspection dated September 11, 1991. According to the Code of the Town of Southold and also the Uniform Building Code of the State of New York it is unlawful to occupy said premises without a Certificate of Occupancy. To avoid legal action, please take care of this matter as soon as possible so a Certificate of Occupancy can be issued. Mr. Javaheri has received numerous letters and Order To Remedy Violations regarding his buildings and sites. He has not complied with all of the Building Department regulations or Town Ordinances regarding inspections and permit renewals. He has been informed that he must renew the permits before any inspections or Certificates of Occupancy will be done or issued. It is the Building Departments contention that the permits must be renewed and the necessary fees be paid.
