Michael Collins, Town Engineer. 1. Minutes of August Meeting 2. Stirling Eastern Shores parking issues - Supervisor Russell 3. High Priority Intersections— PD details for Main Bayview Ackerly Pond. Love Lane. 4. North Fork Traffic Taskforce recommendations and follow up data collection 5. Fishers Island follow up - Who will give response for denial of All-way at Central and Crescent Avenues, drainage ditch hazard—Dan, speed limit sign on Whistler Ave.—PD. 6. Bike North Fork's three requests: A. Bike Lanes: No pavement markings; letter from DOT—they will not custom design markings to allow parking in places but would remove it all. We need State DOT to explains their ideas about recommended signage. Sarah? B. Share the road Signs at entries to Southold: They wanted size, cost and placement ideas...Town Board wants more specifics on that. Dan? C. Bike Racks - Town Board is resisting matching the funds Bike North Fork has raised. D. Education - Mary Bess asked about whether the Town could get educational campaigns (public relations) going about bikes and pedestrians. Reporters will write stories, website could have more information. Asking Bike North Fork to spearhead this. 6. Rational speed limits - Sarah sent a letter to her State DOT contacts and we have not heard back yet. Dan looking into what the speed limits are. Sarah requested that we put it to a vote. 8. Soundview #48 update 9. Breakwater parking—Chris has info from DEC 10. Duck Pond Rd - No parking signs requested for just past community mailboxes 11. Policy on street naming 12.
