Minutes of July 31, 2023 meeting
• Meeting was called to order at 4:00 pm by John Slattery
• Present were: Chris North, Jack Slattery, Jim Abbott, William Ryan, Michael
Regan
• Absent(excused)—Tom MacLeod
• Also attending: Chief Flatley, Scott Russell, Kevin Foote
• Minutes of June 26, 2023 meeting were approved
• Old Business
o Mr. Russell reported that he continues to receive push-back from
"Working Group" IRT making them a permanent town committee. He
intends to adopt Lexipol policies before any further meetings are
sponsored. Ms. Napa has asked to revisit subject after current"pause".
o Chief Flatley outlined steps that PD is taking to mitigate barriers that stand
in the way of Accreditation
o Chief Flatley opined that he believes that Accreditation will be achieved
prior to year end 2023
• New Business
o Supervisor announced that property has been acquired for the new
Court/Police Building and that Michael Collins is being assigned to work
with the Chief on design and specifications. NOTE: Subsequent to this
meeting, the Supervisor requested the PAC assign a member(s)to work
with Mr. Collins and Chief Flatley on design and specifications.
