This application must be filled in by typewriter OR ink and
inspector with the following: for new building or new use:
t.
Final survey of property with accurate location of all buildings, property lines,
streets, and unusual natural or topographic features.
2. Final Approval from Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage-disposal(S-9 form).
3. Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters.
4. Sworn statement from plumber certifying that the solder used in system contains
less than 2/10 of 1% lead.
5. Commercial building, industrial building, multiple residences and similar buildings
and installations, a certificate of Code Compliance from"architect or engineer
responsible for the building.
6. Submit Planning Board Approval of completed site pta~ requirements.
For existing buildings (prior to April 9, 1957) non-conforming uses, or buildings and
"pre-existing" land uses:
1. Accurate survey of property showing all property lines, streets, building and
unusual natural or topographic features. ~
2. A properly completed application and a consent to inspect signed by the applicant.
If a Certificate of Occupancy is denied, the Building Inspector shall state the
reasons therefor in writing to the applicant.

lation of the Code of the Town of Southold.
Please call our office immediately to set up an ap-
pointment for an inspection. The Underwriters Certificate

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Mager:
During a recent inspection at the Orient area 2 things
were noted on your property at 850 Major Pond Rd.
The first item was that construction of a front deck
was being done without a Building Permit. You must apply for
a permit for work to be completed.
The second item noted was that the fence around your
front and rear yard does not meet the code requirements in
that stuctural members should be protected from providing
a foothold.
It was noted also that the Building Permit #14472Z
has expired. You must have a final inspection for a Cer-
tificate of Occupancy in order to use the pool.
Please clear up these matters right away to avoid any
legal action.

Dear Mr. Mager:
During a review of our files it was noted that the above
building permit has expired, and a Certificate of Occupancy has
never been issued.
We did a final inspection on April 24, 1991 and you were
notified that the pool did not pass. Attached is copy of
inspection report.
According to the Code of the Town of Southold, a
Certificate of Occupancy is required before using the pool.
Please contact this office immediately so that we may clear
up this matter so that further action does not have to be taken.
If you have any questions, please do not heistate to call

c. The work covered by this application may not be commenced before issuance of Building Permit.
