Mr. & Mrs. Matz are involved in a matrimonial action. I received a copy of the letter dated December 27, 1994 which Mr. Matz wrote to you, a copy of which is enclosed for your convenience. Mr. Matz falsely advised you that "the court has ordered that the house be sold immediately". There is no such order. The two upstairs bathrooms and upper declc.• are still incomplete. The upper deck needs reinforcement according to your inspection. With respect to the hall bathroom, that also is unfinished. Nothing has been done since your last inspection; the plumbing pipes are still exposed and no fixtures have been installed except a tub. With respect to master bedroom bathroom, its condition is the same as when you inspected it also. The pipes are also exposed and there are no fixtures. At the present time the deck and all of the second floor rooms are completed except for the two bathrooms. Both bathrooms have finished walls, floors and ceilings but only the hall bathroom has bathroom fixtures. Unfortunately, my wife and I are going through divorce proceedings and the court has ordered that the house be sold immediately. We should be able to finish the hall bathroom but cannot afford to finish the master bathroom at this time. It also does not make sense to do so since the room can easily serve as a sewing room, a library or for storage. I am requesting that the building permit be modified to have the master bathroom changed to be a sewing room. Please advise me of any special features that a room of this type may require in addition to finished walls, floors and electrical outlets. Enclosed are four (4) copies of the second floor plan showing what was previously the master bathroom as a sewing room. You may send your response to the above address or contact me at 348-7600.
